St Cyril Of Alexandria Catholic Church

It's weird that people don't seem enthused about the opportunity of providing the Eucharist to the laity. I feel like the commonplace restriction of Christ the Servant to the Diaconate almost justifies the nonsensical Synod on Synodality. The RCIA program is straightforward and I'm learning a bit. The homilies at Mass are generally pretty entertaining. And the cat that's in the courtyard is a girl named Tiger. She's had kittens before but they were taking up by members of the church so she mostly hangs around getting petted all the time.

I have been going to this church for 6 months and I really like Pastor Arroyo. He is a Cuban priest that preach simple the word of God. Has a very large Hispanic community from different countries. I did my consagracion to Our Lady of Guadalupe and Cristo Rey on Dec 12. It was a deep experience for me ,that I will never forget. There are a lot of groups that you can join if you single,married etc. I want to thanks Mrs Green, from the church 's office for helping me to go with the Kairos group for a weekend last year. It change my life, these ladies are awesome. Also my consagration group and other that make my walk with the Lord possible. God bless you all. This time till May 22nd are selling pieces from Jerusalem before and after Mass. They are beautiful.

Wonderful giving church , so many activities, classes, opportunities to help within the church, a community based church, Fr. Randall and Mario really made St.Cyril blossom with so many options that it grew so much and had great events to keep parishioners involved. Everyone had opportunities to share, give and participate. It still has the spirit of 80's and 90's. Became bi- lingual, RCIA, beautiful events, dance of the in Indian Ma-chinis, Fantastic bazaars, people became so involved..it was beautiful, caring, loving and a sight to remember. It still has a magic energy. Fr. Mario and staff will be remembered always for have parishioners participate and not feel insecure but accepted in Life and Future. The hearts of many people made St. Cyril of Alexandria. The energy was awesome. Thanks to all who participated and still do. May God remain in spirit to continue to help the community. 🕊️✨🤗

Catholic church in the Westchase area, off specifically Beltway 8. modern looking church inside and out especially the interior makes it really unwelcoming and not warm and actually the few times I been mostly the Saturday evening mass I have never been welcome or greeted etc, the only good thing I like about this parish is the early evening Saturday vigil, when I need to attend earlier. for it being a catholic church I do not see any statues much less any religious art which is pretty sad

I've never written a bad review on a Catholic church but I have to on this one. We went to the 4:00 PM mass on Saturday. The priest was late and mass didn't start until after 4:05. The priest then proceeded to talk about being late and wearing the wrong vestment. This took another 5 minutes. This priest, who is the pastor by the way, deviated a lot from the way the mass is supposed to be said especially in his wording. He kept adding his own little touch which isn't the way it should be in the mass. His sermon was very long. I don't mind a long sermon but when he says the same thing over and over and over again, it gets very annoying. He kept talking about his own retirement in the sermon. This priest seemed to want to make everything about him instead of God which is what the sermon should be about. I really think this priest really likes the sound of his own voice because he just kept talking and talking and really saying nothing but the same thing. Then when mass was finally about to be over at 5:15, suddenly we have a guest speaker. We never leave mass before the final blessing but did in this instance. We will not return to this church.

The services on sunday so great and usually inspiring. The music is so emotional, definitely not a everyday run of the mill type of sound, is has so many talented singers and musicians. The psalms they sing arent the same every week. Very cool. Also has breakfast sold on site, cash only... all proceeds go to the church, so many service times as well. 9. 11. And 1p.
